LIFTPACE is a fitness and training application developed and operated by BY SVENDSEN.
This Privacy Policy explains how LIFTPACE collects, accesses, uses, stores, protects and deletes personal data, including health and fitness information.
LIFTPACE is designed to help users plan and understand their training, activity and recovery, and to provide personalised fitness insights and coaching features.

3. Information we process
Depending on the features you use, LIFTPACE may process:
- account and profile information;
- training plans and workout information;
- activity and fitness information;
- information you enter into LIFTPACE;
- information generated through your use of LIFTPACE;
- location and GPS information when you use location-based workout features;
- device and technical information necessary to operate, maintain and secure the application;
- subscription and purchase information where applicable; and
- information obtained through integrations that you explicitly enable.
Where you enable supported health integrations, LIFTPACE may access health and fitness information from platforms such as Apple Health/HealthKit and, where supported, Android Health Connect.
Depending on the permissions you grant and the features you use, this may include information such as workout sessions, steps, distance, heart rate, active energy, speed, elevation, cadence, power and other health or fitness information supported by the relevant platform.
LIFTPACE only requests access to health and fitness information that is relevant to the features you choose to use.
4. Health and fitness data
Health information may constitute sensitive or special-category personal data under applicable data protection law.
When you connect LIFTPACE to Apple Health/HealthKit or another supported health platform, LIFTPACE can access only the categories of information for which you grant the required permissions.
We use this information to provide LIFTPACE functionality, including activity analysis, personalised training insights, recovery-related insights and coaching features.
LIFTPACE does not use health or fitness data for advertising purposes.
LIFTPACE does not sell health or fitness data.
Health and fitness information is not shared with employers, insurance companies or other third parties for employment, insurance eligibility or similar decision-making purposes.
5. How we use your information
We may process personal information in order to:
- provide and operate LIFTPACE;
- create and manage your account;
- provide training plans and workout functionality;
- provide personalised training and fitness insights;
- analyse activity and training patterns;
- provide coaching and recovery-related functionality;
- provide location-based workout functionality when enabled by you;
- maintain and improve LIFTPACE;
- provide customer support;
- maintain the security and reliability of the service;
- process and manage subscriptions and purchases; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
Health and fitness information is used for LIFTPACE’s health, fitness, training and coaching functionality and other purposes clearly communicated to you.
6. Your control over health data
You decide whether to connect LIFTPACE with supported health platforms such as Apple Health/HealthKit.
You can grant or revoke health permissions through the controls provided by the relevant platform and, where available, through LIFTPACE.
If you revoke a permission, LIFTPACE will no longer be permitted to access the corresponding information through that integration.
Revoking access does not necessarily delete information that was previously imported into LIFTPACE. Such information can be deleted in accordance with the account and data deletion options described below.
7. Location data
Certain LIFTPACE features may use location information, including GPS data, to provide workout-related functionality such as tracking outdoor activities, distance, speed, pace and routes where supported.
Location access is only used when required for functionality that you choose to use and subject to the permissions granted on your device.
You can change location permissions through your device settings.
LIFTPACE does not sell location information or use it for advertising.
8. Data sharing and service providers
We do not sell your personal information.
We may use service providers to help operate LIFTPACE, including providers of hosting, authentication, infrastructure, payments and other technical services.
Where a service provider processes personal data on our behalf, it is required to process that information only for authorised purposes and subject to appropriate safeguards.
Subscription purchases made through Apple may also be processed by Apple in accordance with Apple’s own terms and privacy practices.
We do not share health and fitness information with third parties for advertising or unrelated commercial purposes.
Personal information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law or a valid legal obligation.
9. Data security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.
No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. We therefore continually work to maintain appropriate safeguards for the information processed through LIFTPACE.
10. Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it is processed, including providing LIFTPACE, maintaining the service, complying with legal obligations and resolving disputes.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it is processed.
Information may be retained for longer where this is required by law or necessary for legitimate legal purposes.
11. Account and data deletion
You can delete your LIFTPACE account directly within the LIFTPACE app through the account settings.
When you delete your account, LIFTPACE deletes or anonymises personal information associated with your account where applicable, except for information that we are required to retain by law or that is necessary for legitimate legal purposes.
Deleting your LIFTPACE account does not automatically delete information stored independently by Apple Health/HealthKit, Android Health Connect or another external health platform. You can manage health information and permissions through the relevant platform.

12. Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you may have the right to:
- access personal data concerning you;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request deletion of your personal data;
- request restriction of processing;
- object to certain processing;
- receive certain personal data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
- lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection supervisory authority.
Health information may constitute a special category of personal data under the GDPR. Where our processing requires your explicit consent, you may withdraw that consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.

13. Children
LIFTPACE is not intended for children where applicable law requires parental consent or otherwise prohibits the processing of their personal information without such consent.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
14. International data processing
Some service providers used to operate LIFTPACE may process information outside your country or the European Economic Area.
Where personal data is transferred internationally, we use or require appropriate safeguards where required by applicable data protection law.
15. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to LIFTPACE, our data practices, applicable law or regulatory requirements.
When the policy is updated, the revised version will be published on this page and the Last updated date will be changed accordingly.
